MemEx is partner of the H2020 “EVOLVE Project – HPC and Cloud-Enhanced Testbed for extracting value from diverse data at large scale” an European Innovation Action with 19 partners from 11 European countries introducing important elements of High-performance computing and Cloud in Big Data platforms taking advantage of recent technological advancement to enable cost- effective applications in seven different pilots to keep up with the unprecedented data growth we are experiencing. MemEx is supporting Tiemme, the public transport operator in Siena and other Tuscany provinces also partner of the project, in developing a pilot on how to process the large amount of data on bus (PT) services, and also on urban mobility planning, collected daily by IT systems in order to improve the PT service performance assessment.
Evolve has started in December 2018 and will last for 36 months.
