Our mission
MemEx offers technical and systems engineering assistance to Local Administrations, Transport Companies and Operators of different transport services. In particular MemEx the system feasibility/design, procurement, implementation monitoring, sign-off, testing, performances and quality service evaluation of
- Sustainable Mobility and Smart Cities (Urban Mobility Planning (SUMP), Low Emission Zone (LEZ), Traffic network modelling and simulation, Stakeholders involvement, PT service definition (urban and extra urban lines, DRT, etc), Urban ITS Plan development interoperability/co-modality, Sustainable Urban Logistics Plans (SULP)
- Intelligent Transport Systems and Urban Traffic Management (Traffic Control, Access Control (UVAR), Traffic Light Priority, on Road and House Parking Management, Variable Messages Signs, Network Modelling, Integrated Mobility Management, MaaS)

MemEx engineers have collaborated, and still collaborate, with research centers (ENEA, ITDP- Institute for Transportation and Development Policy – USA) and both European and non-European universities, such as eg. University of Pisa, Florence, Milan, Naples, Polytechnic of Turin, the Universidad de Quito, UPC – UPC Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Escuela Superior de Ingenieros Universidad de Sevilla, A.U.Th. – Aristotelis University of Thessaloniki, TUC – Technical University of Crete, University of Aberdeen, etc.).
MemEx experts have participated, and still participate, in different working groups at national and international level. They are also authors of various publications and actively contribute to scientific research also through the organization and participation in conferences and workshops and the consistent production of articles and scientific contributions.
